2Pac — Wake Up The Masses (Asko Remix)

Turn the television off for a minute.
Put the newspaper down.
Tell me what you see when nobody tells you what to see.
They got a thousand voices trying to speak inside your head, but how many of them ever tell you the truth?
Yeah.
This one's for the thinkers,
for the questioners,
for everybody
who refuses to sleep with their eyes open.
Yeah,
yeah, yeah. Oh. I woke up in a world where the headlines write the history.
Where a lie becomes the truth if it's repeated with consistency.
Everybody got a screen, everybody got a theory, but nobody checks the facts when information sounds appealing.
They can sell you any story with a face and a microphone.
Turn a complicated issue into something black and white.
