Laga Ft Ragalor — Daughter Of The North

Hear the black tide breathe beneath the snow
Hear the old wind strike the timber low
Where the buried roofs defied the dawn
Ice kept watch, and daughters were born
Winter laid no mercy at their feet
Salt and sleet became the bread they ate
No gentle promise guarded them from night
The mountains taught their bones to bear the weight
I carried embers through the hollow cold
I learned to rise before my fear grew old
I wear the silence no blade can divide
And feed the fire no frost can hide
Born from the winter, raised by the storm
Ice in our silence and fire in our form
We bend with the pine, but never we break
We burn through the dark till the sleeping earth wakes
No hand made us fragile, no fear made us small
The cold carved our courage in mountain and squall
