Raven Astrid — Storm Rising

Storm is rising
Fire in the sky
Hear the ravens cry
We were born where the thunder never dies
Cold wind cuts through the northern stone
We walk the dark but not alone
Ash on our hands, stealing our name
We rose from loss, we rose from flame
They try to break us, try to bind
But storms are never left behind
Rounds on skin and fire and eyes
We stand as one beneath black skies
When war drums roll and ravens fly
We lift our voices to the sky
Hear our hearts like thunder beating
And feel the ground beneath the shaking
And from the dark we rise again
We are the storm
We are the flame
